The Beginning of CuddleWorks

CuddleWorks was founded by Linda Li, a plush designer with over 30 years of experience bringing character and warmth to life through plush design. Over three decades in the industry, Linda began to see plush companions in a deeper way.

A companion is more than a toy. It is a familiar presence we reach for during a stressful day, a quiet moment of rest, a major transition, or when we simply need to feel grounded. Realizing that the fundamental human need for comfort never fades, Linda set out to combine artisanal plush design with sensory support to comfort people through every stage of life.

Our Core Philosophy

Along the journey, Linda partnered with her longtime friend, Professor Fengyi Kuo, whose expertise spans occupational therapy, neuroscience, and mental health. Their conversations shifted the focus from the product itself to the unique human experience behind it.

This inspired the foundational belief of CuddleWorks: Personhood comes first.

Before age, diagnosis, ability, behavior, or circumstance, there is a person who deserves dignity, comfort, and the freedom to be themselves. We design every companion to fit naturally into daily life, offering gentle support whenever comfort is needed.
